Selfish drivers
This is the junction at Al Saad which I took every morning and every evening.
I came from North and would take a left turn at the junction every morning.
There are 3 lanes for going straight and 3 lanes for turning.
The drivers here do not understand why there are different lanes for going straight and turning. They would just suddenly turn left even if they are on the straight lanes. This is extremely dangerous and inconsiderate. Drivers on the last turning lane may not notice someone will cut in from its right!
This happens most frequently when there is a queue on the turning lanes as the green time for turning is always shorter. Sometimes, there will be stupid cars waiting on the first straight lane just to do this stupid stance. And they actually block those cars who genuinely want to go straight.
Yes, you hate waiting, I hate waiting; you are rushing for time, so am I. I think that people who refuse to abide by traffic rules and show a bit more consideration for their fellow road users have no respect for his/her neighbour. It's about poor upbringing and a lack of moral values. Not to mention, they have no regards for other people's nor their own safety.
