Dubai Day 1 - Desert Safari
Travelled 1.5 hours into the desert to do dune bashing.
First, drivers have to deflat the tyres to enable the vehicles to travel through the sand dunes.
After 40 min of rough ride up and down through the sands, we stopped in a place in the middle of the desert for performance and dinner.
I didn't eat lunch as I was worried I will vomit during dune bashing. I was very hungry by evening time. I ate the chicken "satay" before I remember to take photos. The food was really nothing to talk about.
Performances were also substandard.
The event finished at 8.15pm. By the time we reach our Hotel, it was already 10pm.
I was still hungry, so after a bath to wash away all the dust, we went out in search of food.
We ended up in Dome in Reef Mall. I think Dome is also already extinct in Singapore.
Shared a pasta and an apple pie.
Much better than what we had for dinner.
Very very tired. Time to rest. More programmes tomorrow!
