What is a five-star hotel

Back to boring cereal breakfast again...

My friend said the cereals in milk looks very yucky. So I took this photo.

Rewind to last week....

As it's my first time staying in a five star hotel (for my last Dubai trip), I decided to find out what is special about a five star hotel.  I read this -
I was extremely excited.

What I saw when I reach...

Lobby

A Trip Advisor award for last year!

Usually when I travel, I don't like to get weighed down by toiletries. I know I still have to bring my facial cleanser and hair conditioner because I've never seen a hotel provide these. Movenpick did provide hair conditioner. The rest are shampoo, body wash and body lotion.

I didn't really appreciate coffee/tea making facilities until I couldn't find one in the Paris hotels (because they are 2-stars). It was very cold in Paris and I really want to drink hot water/tea.

One distinct feature of 5-star hotels is that they must have fresh flowers and original artpieces.
Take a look at the pictures on display around the hotel -

An interesting find, a hotel room with too many telecommunication devices.

One beside the bed.

One on the working table.

 One in the toilet.

I wrote a review for Movenpick Deira Hotel in Trip Advisor because I hope they can improve.
