Krabi holiday

A relatively peaceful flight to Krabi because she slept all the way. There was a two hours delay at the airport luckily it was the Changi Airport so we just walked around and Roselle  played her cousins. We were stuck further for an hour in the plane because they were unable to open a compartment which was locked with safety items inside... so they claimed. No wonder people told us to be prepared when we take budget Airlines.

We checked into the Phu Pi Maan Resort at around 4 P.M. It was a beautiful resort with a great View of a rock hill.

In the evening we hired a tuk tuk to a nearby town for dinner. The driver dropped us off several streets away from the restaurant forcing us to walk through a night market.

It was a nice dinner of Thai Cuisine. I did not manage to take a photo of the food but only the empty plates.

The next day we had a full day of city tour. We went to the local market, elephant farm, trekking etc.

We trekked to the emerald pool. The water was strangely emerald green in colour.

On the third day, we went to the beach. It was the first time she saw a beach, and was frightened by the strong waves.

We just lingered on the beach for a while because she was so resistant to going near the sands and it was low tide.

We stopped for a great lunch near the beach.

A must-have in Thailand - glutinous rice with mango.

Bought her a cute cheap bag from a random store. Only 120 Thai baht.

That evening we went to a local night Market.

The roast pork was yummy.

Concluding our souvenirs home.

Below: Her entourage of sprays and cream accompanying her every day and night. Despite this, she kena 2 mosquito bites on the last night. They later manifested into huge reds.
