Taiwan day 2
She drank only like 20ml of milk this morning.. At 8am, we went to the hotel cafe to eat our breakfast. There were porridge, bee hoon, eggs, veg, toast, banana etc. She ate a bit here and there but not enough. Sigh.
We got a driver name Joseph for these 3 days we we are in Taichung, Cingjing, Sun Moon Lake, Taipei. He came promptly at 9am to pick us up.
She fell asleep in the car almost immediately.
Our first stop was the 中社花市.
Then we stopped by 彩虹眷村。beautiful art and cheerful colours. We had fun taking photos.
As we made our way towards 埔里, fell asleep on the car again.
We stopped for simple lunch of 切仔面 in Puli. Roselle quite liked the noodles so she ate half a bowl.
After lunch, stopped at the famous Feeling 18 degrees ice cream shop.
Then we slowly climbed our way up Cingjing. Our driver dropped us off at the 青青草原.
We were told the sheep were under quarantine or something because of the recent measles case. We paid the NT160/pax and went in anyway.
Disappointingly empty grasslands.
No sheep.
Nevertheless, enjoyed the pretty scenery and cool weather. Daddy was carrying Roselle, so when I said "enjoyed" , I meant me.
Managed to catch the horse riding performance. Roselle loved it. Whined a bit when we wanted to leave.
Then we took the 步道 downhill to meet our driver.
Stopped by the shops to take photos.
Carton King to see the corrugated cardboard products. This cardboard rocking horse could take our weight!
Our driver recommended us to eat this chicken at a restaurant call 鸡大王. It was pretty good.
