Taiwan day 4&5
Our 日月潭 Hotel room has
a spectacular view over the 伊达邵 pier.
We asked our guard to come fetch us a bit later, so we could took a walk around the lake before we leave.
The streets were still empty in the early morning.
We set off at 10am to make our way to Taipei. On the way, we will stop by a few places.
First, 鹿港老街. Interesting old streets. The sun was really fierce that day. We felt tired after a short walk.
We visited a temple and had lunch at a random restaurant after that. Roselle had some soup noodles with pork chip.

I did let her try the 牛舌饼. Which she took quite a few bites.
Then we made our way to a tomato farm.
I think our guide cum driver pitied us that we didn't see any sheep in Cingjing. He took us to a small farm so that Roselle could see the animals.
We managed to reach Taipei before 7 pm. We parted our way with Joseph right after he dropped us off at the main road. We walked in and found our hotel without any problem..
We were tired so we just dabao some food to eat in our room.
A cod fish bento, which Roselle ate a lot, 豪大大鸡排and 甜不辣, and wanton soup.

Day 5
We went to Taipei Zoo. It was quite easy as there was a direct metro to the zoo.
She had a nap on the metro.
We rented a stroller and she was able to go around in business class. She really loved seeing the animals.
We had lunch at the panda cafe. The food was so so but there were many nice decorations to take photos with. In addition it was raining outside so we were glad to take a quiet rest.
It was still raining after lunch so we decided to take a tram to the other end of the zoo. That was where we could take the gondola to 猫空.
It was very chilly when we reached the high altitude 猫空.
We picked a cafe call 阿四的店. We had hot tea while Roselle had her milk.
She got to play in the small garden too.
When we left, she fell asleep on the gondola and then slept all the way throughout the train ride. Initially we wanted to go back hotel and called it a day. But since she's sleeping, we thought we could play cheat and make a trip to 士林夜市.
We bought 2 umbrellas there. We also found a place to eat dinner. It was late and I was worried Roselle got too hungry. She ate some egglets, some 棺材板 and 炒饭.
