Hong Kong and Macau Trip 2015 part 2
So with the free ride we so resourcefully attained, we could get back to the ferry terminal...
to take more free rides to other casinos!
Of course we chose to go to the largest and grandest casino, not just in Macau but in the whole world, the Venetian Macao.
Being here brought back nostalgic memories of Doha's Villaggio as they are all copycats of the Venetian Las Vegas, with the indoor canal with gondolas and the painted ceiling of clear blue sky.
The casino laid the lower floors, below the shopping area.
This is the other famous brand of Portuguese egg tart. This is reportedly (by my travel buddy) to be nicer than the one we ate at Margaret's Cafe.
We had a ferry ticket back to HK at 6pm so we had to leave by 5. The shuttle service was open to all so we didn't have to solve a mystery puzzle. Just join the queue.
Back in HK for dinner. Tsui Wah again with an episode of Luk Yu Teahouse ran out of 烧腊 and misguided us to go Yat Lok which was closed. I didn't think much about it but my travel buddy and my husband insisted that the waiter at Luk Yu did it on purpose.
The next day, we went to Stanley market.
Suspecting that this photo is over exposed? No! The sun was this powerful!
It was such a hot day that it was tiring to walk around outdoors. Nevertheless, the place gave us a great atmosphere with its little shops and no crowds.
Where else in hk you could take a photo without others photo bombing it?
We had a late lunch of 烧腊 and dimsum at familiar 名都.
Wonderful meal...
even with last piece syndrome.
It was our last night in hk, of cos must make full use. At 9pm, we took a cab to Mongkok.
Late dinner at Tai Hing.
