Passing of a great man
I woke up this morning to the news that Mr Lee Kuan Yew has passed away. I could not describe how I felt, even now. It was not exactly sadness, it was more of a helpless feeling that everyone has to come to an end. No matter how intelligent you are, how powerful you are, or how many lives you have changed, you have to come to a rest one day.
It was a overwhelming feeling of loss. Not only what I've lost but what the whole Singapore lost. We lost a leader of wisdom, vision and integrity.
We brought flowers and our heavy hearts to the Istana in the evening. A small gesture to show our respect. For a man who played a huge role in determining who we are today.

Saw Mr LKY on a tv documentary, of him waving to the crowd during NDP. Sudden wave of sadness realizing that we will never see him in another NDP.
