Penang trip (2nd day evening)
We took a taxi to Gurney. We went in search of the street food at Gurney. It took is a while to find it. And when we found it...
It looks like it's not opened.
We walked further, and heng ah, got some stalls open.
We then went shopping at Gurney Plaza. The shopping centre is very similar to the ones in Singapore, but much less crowded.
We then went to meet up with my sis in law who is also in Penang with her friends. We went to this "四大天王" at Kimberley Street. Our colleague told us it is famous for kway chap, kway teow tng, char kway teow and desserts.
We then walked my sis in law back to her hotel. As she went for a durian farm tour this morning, she packed some durians for us. As we couldn't eat durians in the hotel, we had to eat on the streets.
On the way back we bought 10 sticks of satay. We had to wait for a long time because the stall owner didn't take our order. The satays are actually not nice at all.... Disappointed.
That's all for the day!
