Penang trip (first nite)
We reached Penang at nearly 9pm. We took a cab straight to the hotel. First impression of the hotel is not bad. The room is very spacious.
There's also a living area. Like a suite.
But as I'm writing this on the bed, I'm quite upset that the tv is in the living area and I can't watch it on the bed. 😩
And the bed is super hard.
After checking in, we went out to look for dinner. I haven't eaten since lunch so I'm quite hungry already.
We walked out and came to a eating place shortly. It has many stalls selling different type of food and a "getai".
We ordered a small oyster omelette, ngor hiang and chicken wings.
After the meal we continued to explore the nearby streets. We came across this stall with a queue selling a small snack so we decided to try.
It's a very small and inefficient production line. After waiting like 15 min, we bought 4 pieces of this.
Turns out that it's the love letter kind of biscuit. Aiyoh, a bit tui.
