Driving licence
I can still remembered when I first started my driving lesson in Jul 2006. Now, I've finally passed my driving test! On my first attempt!
The test was quite smooth. I think I performed better than I usually did, so even my driving instructor was surprised when he saw my test checklist. He flipped to the back and said "huh, only 8 demerits?!" then flipped to the front to check whether it's really my name (a bit insulting.... hmmm....).
Before the test, I had a revision lesson with my instructor. He kept urging me to go faster on the road. He said why I suddenly daren't step on the accelerator. Perhaps, it's insecurity on my part. During the test, while in the circuit, the examiner more than once told me to "go go go", "quick, turn left", etc. I was already sighing to myself.
It's good that I passed this. Firstly, I don't have to wake up early on Sundays for the 8:30 am driving lesson anymore. Secondly, the lessons are really expensive. The bill came up to about $1200. Can't imagine how much more I have to spend if I failed.
At least, now I can drive when I'm required to. Glad to complete this task at last. :)
