Nothing much...

I don't have anything in particular which I want to write but here I am, at 2230, on a weekday night, in my office, writing my blog.

Because...

  1. I'm waiting for the EQ tank to drain so that we can install the level switch.
  2. All my colleagues are at site and nobody in the office to talk to.
  3. I cannot access NUScast anymore (very much wanted to watch LOTR3 which is showing on Ch5).
  4. Mr Tan Teck Wee said I'm very childish and refused to reply my MSN messages.

Sigh...

I shall write about the funny things that happened today then.

  1. We opened the penstock at interface pt 5b to let the sec effluent come into our FCC. There were 4 frogs playing mahjong in our pipeline and they ended up in the FCC. Tay told the workers to save the frogs or else they cannot go home. They managed to save one.
  2. We went to NUS to eat lunch. We passed by WS2 and I saw my labmates unloading ww. Alight from the van to attempt to talk to them. Dunno why they all started shouting at me. I panicked and boarded the van again. Drove off. Still a bit blur.
  3. Tay and I tried to open the blinds and install the level switch when the EQ tank is still 9.8 % full. We only managed to half open the blinds and we're all wet. Smart alecks we are.
  4. We decided that we have to drain the tank after all. So Tay opened the drain valve (a 1100 mm dia pipeline) while I standby at the drain sump. There was this heavy ladder in the drain sump and it was washed away by the turbulence of the drain water! We had to find the ladder and we walked down 8 sumps to look for it. Found it just before the outfall. Heng leh...
