Hong Kong trip (part 1)

I don't remember going on overseas vacations with my friends much. Most of my trips are business trips so I travel alone or sometimes, with colleagues. After I got married, I travel mostly with my husband.

Looking back, I could only recall one trip to Bintan, one to Hong Kong and one to Taiwan with friends. Sounds pathetic right?

Since now I've settled down in Singapore, it's easier to plan an overseas holidays with friends. My girlfriends and I decided to go on a Hong Kong trip to 买东西吃东西, 买东西吃东西.

It was relatively easy to plan a trip to Hong Kong. All of us have been there numerous times. We bought air tickets from Singapore Airlines. We chose a very early flight -730am- as we thought we could reach HK before lunch and have more than half a day for shopping. But there's always this phrase 天不从人愿.

We were trapped in the plane at Macau airport for 4.5h! Reason was that the weather at HK airport prevents the plane from landing.

My companions. I ate 3 packets of mixed nuts! Luckily I didn't get a sore throat.

Finally, we manage to land in HK airport at about 5pm. We were already tired ... for doing nothing. 浪费青春.

This was my first meal in HK, a charsiew bun, after trapped in the cabin with my last meal taken at 8am plus.

We took the airport express to Central and then took a MTR to Sheung Wan. It was Sat so the trains were not very crowded. The lucky thing was that it was not raining so we were still able to walk to our hotel with our big luggage.

This photo is oriented on the horizon. The slope to the hotel is really steep. Imagine us with our luggages.

Butterfly on Hollywood. Room was of acceptable standards.

After check in, we took the MTR to Causeway Bay for dinner.

A great sushi dinner

Followed with the famous 双皮炖奶 at Yee Shun Dairy.
