The fugitive
I think I'm a very typical young Singaporean. I pay little attention to government policies (except maybe the ERS package), usually agree with what our PM says and have a lot of confidence in the ruling party.
However, the recent issue of Mas Selamat made me angry for a while. I have a hurt feeling that the Singapore police has failed us. The whole story about his escape sounded very absurd to me. And this had to happen when I was struggling to find out how to file my tax...
I saw his photos outside cinema theatres too... maybe they think he'll go catch a movie...
I cringe to imagine the possibility that these people may try to bomb our MRT during peak hours. I tried to ask my mom to take bus instead of MRT to work, she said I siao.
Life still goes on anyway.
