PJ trip (Part II)
In the evening, we went to 1 Utama. This is a shopping centre near Lai Yoke's house. I've been there last year when I visited Lai Yoke. It's considered a neighbourhood shopping centre, but it's huge! Not the size of West Mall or Jurong point. Think... Suntec.
The mall has all the branded shops like Armani Exchange, Versace, DKNY, CK, Zara etc. And also a department store, Parkson, that has all the cosmetic & fragrance counters like SKII, Clinique, Clarins, Shiseido, Kose etc... No different from shopping in Orchard. Recall: it's a neighbourhood shopping centre.The next morning, they brought me to a wet market near their house. It's very interesting. It kinda remind me of the time when I was small and accompanied my mother to the wet market near my house. However, the market has already been transformed to a squeky clean dry market.
There're even stalls selling Gucci bags!
There are lotsa Hongkong-styled 茶餐厅s like these.
But we went to a roadside stall for breakfast. The chee chiong fun is very nice. 现做现卖现吃.
