Eid Al Fitr

It's the Eid Al Fitr holidays. We have 2 days holidays from work, Sunday and Monday. It's a good time to take a rest and relax.

Having these 2 days holiday reminded me how much our quality of life will improve if we have 2 rest days per week. Usually, that one and and only rest day will be used to run errands, do housework and by the time you finish your chores, you will be left with the other half of the day wondering what you have done on such an important day and started feeling sian about having to count another 6 days to the next rest day.

We woke up early today to go out for a good breakfast at Landmark. Yah lah, 8am is early for me ok.

It's Paul again! Doesn't it look like we booked the whole restaurant? 8am is too early for the locals as well.

First served, the usual bread basket with butter and jam, yum yum, and must-have coffees.

My poached eggs with bacon (of course not pork) and potato wedges.

My husband chose an omelette with harsh browns.

Then we went shopping around Landmark. Bought a new pair of sunglasses at some random shop, and some celery and baking stuff from Carrefour. Wanted to find some winterwear for my France trip at Mango, Zara, H&M etc, but apparently, they are not selling winterwear for the year yet.

That's the most enjoyable rest day we had in Qatar.
