Too hot
It's getting very hot here in Qatar. Am I glad I'm going back to Singapore in a few days' time.
Today I left my lunchbox in the car. During lunchtime, I returned to the car to fetch it.
Melted cheese in my sandwich! yum yum.. save the time of microwaving
Villaggio is still closed due to the big fire, now City Centre is also closed for inspections. Everyone seems to be flocking to the next largest shopping centre, Landmark, which is near where I stay. We lost our shopping place as it's impossible to get parking now.
One evening, we decided to try our hand at steaks since we can't go to Landmark.We got 2 pieces of beef from Lulu, topped with mushroom sauce, coleslaw and garlic bread.
I tried to fry the first piece of beef and ended up smoking up the whole kitchen. My husband took over.
The end product is still quite nice.
There's still a lot of room for improvement though.
