Countdown - 23 days
Counting down my days in the lab.
People always say, the days in school are the best, no worries, no hardship, no fear.
WRONG!
Students have their share of tough times. We worry about exams, presentations, deadlines and even about the late library book, mumbling-to-himself lecturer and crowded canteen. As a postgraduate, maybe a bit more to worry, for example the reactors overflowing, the prof shooting (arrows), the profs playing politics and weekends missing...
But I guess all these are still nothing compared to work life. However, where to find a job
- when you can come to office at 10 am or even later and nobody will reprimand you?
- when you can have a >1 hr lunchtime?
- when you can surf net, watch TV or MSN whenever you like?
- when you can go for tea breaks as many times as you want?
- when you can stand around to chit-chat and gossip when you're bored?
I will miss the life here.
I will miss my friends here; the time we spent talking nonsense; the time we spent celebrating birthdays at the big table; the time we eat lunch and dinner in the canteen and waiting to see who is willing to volunteer to buy drinks (and pay); the time we complained to one another about missing stirrer bars, pipettes and beakers; the time we spent quarreling due to different viewpoints and stands; the time we spent suaning one another about the careless or blur things we did...
and so much more...
