World Cup 2006
The World Cup has kicked off.
I must remember to spell "World Cup" with a capital "W" and capital "C". I should treat it with a lot of respect.
May I reiterate that I do not understand what is the thing with men and soccer. What's the fuss about World Cup?
Is it because it's only held once in 4 years?
Is it because they use a very special ball that has a special ball trajectory, shape, balance, bounce, water absorption and velocity?
Is it because the referees are more grumpy, merticulous and drama than usual?
Is it because everyone can bet openly?
Aiyoh, cannot understand stand stand stand.... lah lah lah... ... ...
My brother gave $15.75 more to SCV so that he can accumulate more dark eye rings. The lab pple decided to pool $2 each to predict which country gets the World Cup.
Siao liao lah...
So I think World Cup is more about money than about the ball. It keeps the money flowing, which is good for the economy right? And it keeps people excited, which is good for the economy too right?
