How to mend a broken heart?
I was watching Grey's Anatomy yesterday night. If you do watch the show, it's usually very soapy, dramatic and scandalous, which makes it very interesting. Coupled with the just as outrageous Desperate Housewives in the previous timeslot, it's always an entertaining Monday night.
However, one scene in Grey's Anatomy touched me in a way and time I least expected.
The scene is about a middle-aged woman being sent to the hospital because she had a heart-attack. Records have shown that she had the same attack every year on the same day. After some investigations, her doctor, Izzie found that she doesn't have a heart-attack.
The real reason is her best friend had died years ago. On his death anniversary every year, she grieves so much that her heart stop beating. And it's something she does not want to admit because she has a husband and family. He is just a best friend.
Woman, "So can you cure my condition?"
Izzie, "I wish I know how."
We all wish we know how-
