I think it is ok if both of you have the manage to put the past behind..
This is because meeting up may trigger off memories.. if either of you can't handle yourself, then the whole situation may turn out bad..
It may not not be easy to be so rational since humans are emotional creatures. Then again, I am sure u are not the first one on world to be in such a situation.
If you really want to see him, go for it so u dun have to live with a "what if".. it's irritating.. just do it =)
nothing wrong with going out with ur ex on valentine's day.. if the feeling still lingers and is mutual, good for u... else its just a dinner...
