My first cake (without using pre-mix)
My original intention was to make an apple & raspberry crumble, but it ended up as an apple & blackberry crumble with crumbles on top.

You can see got charred bits on top... I still hasn't learn how to control the oven that well. I will do better in future.

I have no electric mixer, so we did the creaming all by hand (my husband helped cos my arm got muscle cramp after few minutes). I'm glad the cake was fluffy and nice.
