10. 过大礼
Our 过大礼 was done on Christmas eve, 24 Dec 2011.
Early morning, my parents put up the 红彩 (red banner) on the main door and other wedding decorations.
9am, my boyfriend arrived with his 媒婆.
The 聘礼 my bf brought..
- 2 hard liquors
- 12 boxes of 喜饼
- 22 cans of pig trotter
- 18 oranges
- 2 sets of 龙凤烛
- 1 set of 龙凤手镯
- 聘金 angpow
And I also brought my dowry to my bf's house on the same day.
Simple ceremony.
