Today I went to an interesting play at the Esplanade with Dr Tay and ZX. Yah, a weird combination. Mr Pang couldn't make it, so I gave ZX a free ticket. Our tickets were student price, so to use the ticket, the person has to be a student. ZX is the only friend I had (excluding the lab pple) who is still studying. Anyway, in the end, the staff did not even check our student identities when we entered.
ZX suggested paying for the ticket after the show but I've already told him it's free, how can I collect money from him now. Besides, I'm sure Mr Pang won't mind this small money. :p

The show was hilarious. Laughed from the beginning till the end and my hands were numb with clapping at the end of the show. I think spending a bit more to watch such plays is much more worthed than watching movies. Movie tickets are way too expensive these days. On a weekend, it's $9.50! So ex...

These days, my colleagues had been calling me a NERD (actually, they not only called me a nerd, they called me a SUPER NERD). I don't really mind lah, cos I think I am one at times.
The 3 people I've mentioned so far here are Dr and Dr-to-be's. The people I hang around are also Dr or Dr-to-be's. Aren't such people supposed to be nerds rather than me? Maybe if I hang around too much with these people, I become nerdy as well. Sometimes when I go out for dinners with the lab people, I will suddenly be hit by the realization that I'm the lowest-educated in the group. But come to think of it, I'm also not the most nerdy lor.
So... MR NG, stop calling me a nerd!
Was out shopping these days too. The town was FULL of people. Everyone is rich and ready to spend. It makes shopping very difficult.
Was at Heerens yesterday and telling Teresa the clothes there are totally out of my consideration. Who would wear this shirt? If you're willing to wear it and walk in town for 1 h, I'll buy it for you, and throw in a Cafe Latte as well.

Worried about the news on terrorists in UK. It could happen anywhere. Just pray that everything will be ok and everyone will be safe.

Higher education doesn't make one smarter. In fact they just get more specialized in a field, and become a total idiot in other aspects of life. But still, being a nerd has nothing to do with education level. It's just personality. Well, I am proud to be a nerd. :P
