Living with Covid-19
In the evening, my mother told us that my father is PCR positive.

Deepavali public holiday, stayed home. Did ART for Roselle so that it is safe for her to go to school tomorrow, it is negative.
5 Nov
We found Roselle woke up with a mild fever. Got an appointment with Dr Chong at 11am. Dr Chong recommended she does a PCR test to ascertain if it is Covid. But it could not be done at his clinic. The nearest one is Kingsway Medical Clinic at Clementi Ave 2 who is willing to do it for kids under 13.
At Kingsway Medical Clinic, her ART result is positive. We went home to wait for PCR result.
At about 8pm, we received notice in Healthhub, she is PCR positive.
Had several fights with Roselle on taking panadol.
6 Nov
Thought of all ways to make Roselle take her panadol. Since she is so repulsive to the taste of the panadol syrup, i tried to crush the panadol tablet and put them into sandiwch biscuits, nutella in bread, yoghurt etc. Biscuits work best because she can detect the texture of the crushed tablet.
Roselle has to stay in the master room, away from Adelle.
Eat, play, sleep in the master bedroom. She's allowed to watch her cartoons on the tablet for extended hours.
姑姑 bought her activity books.

Same as yesterday.
8 Nov
In the afternoon, Adelle developed a fever and I again called Dr Chong for an appointment. Got an appointment at 6.30pm. Dr Chong said her throat looks red. Similarly we went to Kingsway Medical Clinic for ART and PCR test. Her ART was negative.
Around 10pm, received PCR test result. It is positive.
9 Nov
Panadol seemed to be controlling Adelle's temperature well. For her, we just put it into milk and she drank all without much problem. She seemed to be having sore throat too.
The girls are reunited as both are positive.
Adelle is happy to be allowed into the master bedroom.
11 Nov
MOH sent a PHV to send Adelle to KKH for doc assessment. TW went with her. Doctor actually told us to stop her panadol to see if her fever is above 38 degC and beyond 5 days. If yes, need to hospitalize her.
TW self tested at home ART positive
Adelle seemed ok without panadol, temperature did not exceed 38 degC. She is having sore throat so i tried to give her the food she likes, like strawberries, kiwi, blueberries, yogurt, ice cream...
12 Nov
TW went to the polyclinic after lunch and tested positive for ART. PCr results came in in the evening, positive.
I also went at about 4pm but the polyclinic said they are closed for the day. I went to the Raffles clinic and ART positive. That night, receieved PCR result positive.
13 Nov - 20 Nov
Whole family isolated at home.
Thanks to friends and family for bringing us presents and groceries, which are great comfort during this period.
22 Nov
Finally, on 22 nov (mon) 12pm, i was officially discharged from the isolation order.
Brought the girls downstairs to play. It was a relief that the whole thing is over and we can go back to our normal lives.
