Surgery
Admissions on 3 May. Felt like checking in to a hotel.
Sure felt like a hotel staycation except it's a hospital bed rather than a king size one. And the patient is not me! Haha.
Patient was wheeled into the operating theater at 3.40pm. I accompanied for a while, until I was chased out. The operation was 4 hours. He was back in the ward around 8pm.
With a huge cast.
Room service everyday...
Breakfast
Lunch
Patient's lunch was the bryani with lamb shank. The soup bee hoon with lots of vege was mine.
Dinner
Include tea break and supper. 5 meals a day! Stay here will grow fat man.
Despite this, patient was still extremely interested in this food vending machine.
The menu was quite extensive. Looked interesting.
The patient was discharged after 3 nights. He hobbled home with his cast with 2 crutches.
2 weeks later, he went back to doctor to remove the cast.
Screamed in pain when doc removed stitches.
Long scar.
Take care, darling.
