My New Companion
I had the monitor for quite some time. Last week, I bought a CPU at Sim Lim Square. It costs $408 initially. After several upgrades, which I don't know what they are but my colleagues said they are worthed it, it costs nearly $500. Oh yah, I added a TV card too, so that my PC can double up as my TV too.

I had a most interesting experience at Sim Lim when buying this CPU. People who know me know that I'm a complete comp idiot. Even if you do not know, you would have guessed it by now since I couldn't even name what upgrades I had paid for. So when buying this CPU, I had a hard time at the shop.
However, this does not mean I'm giving the shop people a hard time. In fact, they had it easy earning my money. I was trying very hard to think of "intelligent" questions to ask the shop people. But I guessed, the things I asked were not that intelligent.
Ok, anyway, after paying for it, I had trouble setting it up. First was the problem with installing the OS. After it was solved, I struggled a few days to install all the required drivers. Lastly, I had trouble connecting to my wireless router.
This morning, with the help of my best best best colleague cum friend, Mr Soo Beng, I finally got it right.
Taaa--daaaa.... finally connected to internet and writing a blog about my 满头大汗 experience.
Anyway, I'm still a comp idiot.
