Happy New Year 2017
First day of the new year, we had a lunch date with some friends at Liang Court. Liang Court has a traditional Japanese sake opening ceremony on 1 Jan every year. We attended one a few years ago, now we're back. Now 3 of us.
Free sake came in this cute little wooden cup.

Roselle behaved really well at our outing. Our friends were impressed that she didn't cry at all. The ceremony had a drum performance which was very noisy, I thought she would be alarmed or uncomfortable so I carried her out of her pram. But she was very calm and just looked around curiously. When we went for our lunch, she fell asleep, giving her mom and dad time to enjoy their meals.
The only time she cried was when we brought her to the nursing room for feeding. I was not very skilled at feeding her without my nursing pillow so she must have cried because of the discomfort. But after feeding and a diaper change, she was ever so sweet again.
This is a sign my darby will be my shopping buddy for years to come.
