Glutinous rice
This is a new dish. Success on my first attempt!
I remembered my mom prepared a lot of peanuts and dried shrimps for me to bring to Doha, so I decided to make glutinous rice. I had dried chinese mushrooms too, but unfortunately I do not have any lap cheong.
I consulted a colleague who is very good at cooking. She said the key to making tasty glutinous rice is:
1. Lots of garlic
2. Lots of onion3. Lots of oil
4. Lots of salt
Noted.
She's right. Something with lots of garlic, onion, oil and salt, it will taste good.
First fry all the ingredients.
Steaming....
