Beef stew - 劳民伤财
As yesterday was a rest day, we decided to cook beef stew.
This is a 劳民伤财 dish, because to stew the beef till it's tender, it takes more than 2 hours. We have to constantly keep an eye on the pot, stir, and add lots of water - we cook using bottled mineral water, so it's expensive.
This will be our lunch for the next 2 consecutive days.
